Summer First Sundays
Well by now most of you are aware of our First Sunday Family Services and that we have been featuring guitar songs. This has been something we have been doing during the school year. It has also been well received generally. Summertime is supposed to be when the living is easy. So we are going to continue the First Sunday tradition with non-traditional music (or maybe we should say non-traditional instruments). I will play guitar. Anyone who plays something from flute to kazoo is invited to bring their instruments along and we will join together. It should be fun and different. The services themselves will be our customary. These will be known as ... hmm... how about as First Sunday Folk Services?!
Got suggestions for songs? Send them in! The Sundays will be July 4, August 1, and September 5 at 10 AM.
The next special Family Services will be October 3, for the Blessing of the Pets, and November 7, which will be St. Martin's Day!
