St. Martin's Drama Guild is now in its thirty-fourth season, having been founded in 1972 by the late actor-parishioners Milton and Colette Parsons, with the encouragement and blessing of Father James Murray and Father Thomas Vaughn. The Guild's raison d'etre is to incorporate Chancel drama into the church service, which is usually done during the Lenten season. This dates from drama's medieval heritage. Secular/Theatrical plays are presented each fall with the proceeds going to this work as well as to the St. Martin general fund.
