What would you like to know about St Martin’s? This is the opening
page of our website and will guide you to the answers to many of your
questions. And, if it doesn’t, you can always call the Church Office
at (818) 348-1419, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
We are a long-established Episcopal church in the heart of the San
Fernando Valley;
in fact you might say we grew up with the Valley, since
we’ve been here in Winnetka since 1949. We’re near the intersection
of Winnetka Avenue and Sherman Way, about two miles north of the
Winnetka Avenue exit off the 101 Freeway, and about four miles south of
the 118 Freeway, using the Tampa exit if heading west or the DeSoto exit
if heading east.
We have two services on Sunday morning. At 8am we follow the Rite One
form of Holy Eucharist, a quiet, meditative form of worship; at 10am we
provide Rite Two, with music and singing. Sunday School is offered with
the 10am service. There is also a Rite One service at 10am on Thursdays.
Visit our Worship section for additional information.
There are a variety of different groups to join and interests you can
follow at St Martin’s and we would like to encourage you to
participate. Visit our St. Martin's & You section and a host of possibilities
will present themselves.
There is information on the History
of St. Martin's, the History St Martin
himself, and St. Martin's Church Vestry on the
following pages.
We hope you will come and join us.
